Automated tan booth instructions

Step by Step Guide to Self Service Tanning :

Follow these instructions for an amazing tanning experience.

If you have visited us while our manual tan side is open and feel confused or want us to walk you through your first visit simply come say hi and we will show how simple it is.

The best tan is all about your PREP remember. (We have a great tip page on our website) That means taking the time pre tan to get your skin ready to achieve the BEST result.

* Before choosing your tan colour, think about how long you want it to wear it before your first rinse. We offer two options:

* Rapid tans can be rinsed off in as little as 2 hours

* Extended wear tans you can sleep in / leave on 4 – 8 hours.

* Check the menu in booth for the different colour options:

* Golden Hour .. The classic bronze, made for golden hour in every timezone.

Available in: Extended wear (wear 4 – 8 hours) : undertone Caramel

* After Dark .. Deep and designed to turn heads — even after hours

Available in: Rapid (wear 1 – 4 hours)

Extended wear (wear 6 – 8 hours) : undertone Violet

* SELECT FAVOURITE SESSIONS on the LCD screen ( DO NOT SELECT ANYTHING ELSE) and choose your colour and level of darkness – Light / Medium / Dark – then – ACTIVATE SESSION

* The machine will NOT start until you wave your hand over the sensor once inside and ready.

* If the floor is damp, please use the squidgy provided but know that a little water on the soles of your feet will be fine. You will be wearing sticky feet to protect them also.
* Undress to comfort level: disposable g strings provided.

* Remove jewellery and accessories.  Remember these will create potentially unwanted tan lines.

* Peel paper backing from sticky feet and place on the mat for easy step-on before entering the booth.

* Put on white hair net with hairline and ears left visible (to avoid tan lines).

* Apply barrier cream to entire hands and feet. The more you use the less the tan will take to those areas so use sparingly to avoid the tan not taking AT ALL – this in in the black dispenser found on the wall.

* Practise your positions in the mirror. Taking note of hands. (think when on the side .. high 5’s all around) (when facing front and back have your palms to the ground)

* Time to enter the booth. Follow the position images inside the booth and listen to the voice over guide directing you.

* Tap the green flashing button to start session.

* You will be sprayed with a PRIMER first before your tan. This requires you to stand to the front and the back only.

* Once your tan is finished (around 4 minutes) exit the booth carefully.

* Use wipes to remove excess barrier cream from hands and feet and gently wipe over nails and toe nails.  Any tan will wipe off painted nails and they will be fine.  Please put your rubbish in the bin.

* If you would not like your face tanned you can either use a baby wipe directly after your spray to remove the product from your face OR cover your face with an extra hair net to avoid the spray.

After you have exited the booth use our buffing brushes to blend in between fingers and around wrists and ankles.  Feel free to use a spray of our brush cleaner prior to this, making sure to wipe the brush dry with a tissue before touching your body.  Using the spray after use would be much appreciated also.
